A little sparkle

Recently I've started painting my fingernails. I quit ages (think: decades) ago because the polish always immediately chips off. It still does but I've found that the short term enjoyment outweighs my frustration with the chips. This time I asked my nail lady Danielle if I could have a sparkly nail on each hand. My bestie Danielle and I had been talking about it for a few weeks and figured it would be fun.

It totally is.

This time of year a little sparkle goes a long way to brighten up a questionably wintery day. However, during the summer (ya know, when you actually can see my toes) all bets are off. Can't wait for my toes to sparkle!

Housekeeping Announcement

A few days (okay, probably more like a week or so) ago I renamed my blog.

Don't ask me why.

I was just feeling like a change. And I wanted a .com. Preferably with my name in it. And it couldn't be too limiting - since we know I sporadically (at best) blog and am totally random.

So after milling it over for a few days (and discussing it with Dani) I came up with Hello Patti! and hello-patti.com.


I'm also thinking about some template changes, but it will probably be May before I get all that done.

In the meantime I don't think anything else has changed around here. Except that I wrote a couple posts so you'll actually be hearing from me this week - lol.
