Oh nevermind, I found one! The crib is one of the first things we picked out for the nursery - way before we knew we were having a baby boy. For awhile, I was concerned that the white was too girly, but ultimately figured that the two-tone coloring and the modern design was too much like what I wanted to care. Off to the side, you can also see his diaper thingie. I dont use it (its just as easy for me to take the diapers downstairs to the kitchen trash), but I think Jase does. Full disclosure: the photo is slightly misleading. Or maybe I should just say its out of date. Now that the baby's here, we've also added a laundry hamper and a wetbag that I throw his cloth diapers in.
Normally I wouldnt post a photo of a door, but I wanted to show you his name sign. We got it at my work baby shower and it was Jase's idea to put it on his door. Especially since it matches the color scheme. I have to admit, now that its up there it is pretty cute.
Rather than getting a separate piece of furniture, like many parents we opted to put the changing pad right on top of a small dresser. I ended up ordering this pad from Amazon beause the standard ones are kinda long and I knew I wanted to have some room to store supplies/decorations. Believe it or not, the decorations are still up there, along with his baby lotion, cloth wipe solution, and his diaper rash creme. Oh, and to give the dresser a bit of personality (some of you may recognize it from Ikea), I added some decorative knobs in the nursery colors.
Above the changing pad I hung a mobile. DIY of course, made of one of my favorite materials: ribbon! This mobile cost me less than $5 to put together because I had almost all of the ribbon already (yeah, my collection is vast and borderline out of control).
Here's a close up of the items on the dresser. Again, I DIY'd some art that I loved, stuck it in an Ikea frame along with a pair of baby sneakers and a teal piggy bank. He recently received a piggy bank shaped like a train engine (and engraved with his name, birth date and something about getting on the right track) that we're going to swap out for the pig. Or maybe we'll just put the pig somewhere else.
And if you're interested, here's a closeup of whats in the dresser. In case you were wondering where the actual diapering supplies are, they're in this top drawer. Maybe I'm a little wierd, but I love that this stuff has a home that's tucked away for when you're not changing a diaper.
The second drawer houses his onesies and sleepers. Oh, and basket full of socks and a stack of hats. Since we're home most days and I keep the house pretty much at 77 degrees all the time, he doesnt wear socks often. In fact, I dont even know if he hates them yet. So far, he really only wears them when we go out. *shrug* And he's never worn any of those hats. I just hate to cover up those curls with a hat - especially when we dont go anywhere most days.
The bottom drawer contains blanket and other misc items for now. Thankfully, its not full. I'm feeling like we'll eventually need that space.
Here's the rocking corner. I went back and forth (ask Dani) about whether I wanted a rocker or a glider. I ended up going with the rocker because all of the gliders I liked were really expensive and I wasnt sure how much time I'd really spend in the chair. If Ty hated rocking, we'd just put this chair on the porch. I mostly nurse in the chair, but I think he likes it okay. Accessorizing it are a blanket I ordered off Etsy and his Boppy. Another thing we only use sometimes right now. As he gets older, I imagine we'll use it a little more. Oh, and that lamp. I love that lamp. Well, I particularly love that little table. Its the perfect size for my phone, my kindle, and sometimes my water - in otherwords my nursing gear. Nursing is not an exciting activity...you gotta have some gear.
And as customary, his stuffed animals sit on top. The bunny and soft truck were gifts from his grandparents (Hubs' parents, affectionally known as BomBon and Grump), and the other two bears are mine. Once Ty is bigger, I figure this bench will be a good place to sit him down to put on shoes, or could add a cushion and make it more like a real window seat. Technically, the shelf can be wall mounted, so we could decide to go in a whole other direction entirely down the line.
I'm going to end the tour with a closeup of the bunting. Just cause its cute and fun. Hope you enjoyed the tour!

Room looks great. What type of cloth diapers do you use? I am considering using them.
